I’ve been riding the adrenaline of the last 48 hours to make sure that our part of the inaugural Surrey Youth Arts Festival went well, and it has all been worth it.
We had creative writing sessions, DJ workshops, fashion illustration lessons, book binding, and rap classes in the library at Staines today – all part of a wide range of activities and events assembled with Surrey Arts, Spelthorne Council, and a host of partner organisations.
It was all very positive, friendly, cooperative, and above all fun – but I am very glad to now be lying in bed as my feet throb from a day of floating oversight of it all.
